You can travel by foot, bike, car, boat or aeroplane. These are all different forms of getting you from one location, to the other. However, only some can take you so far.
Travelling can be an exciting experience. It can broaden your horizons giving you aspirations. Most people travel for pleasure, some for work benefits.
There are many famous landmarks that you can see through traveling as well as experiencing the world wonders. But the question is, why travel?
Travelling not only gives you a fantastic experience, it teaches you about other cultures. But through learning about another culture, it also teaches you more about yourself and you gain a greater knowledge of your own culture. Travel can be inspiring, whilst also teaching us and reminding us that we can make a difference.
Travel can help prepare you for the future and will be highly beneficial in schools and to future employers.
Is traveling a risk? The motor cycle is the most dangerous form of transportation where bus and rail are the safest form. Although, it is often seen that flying is the more dangerous. It is safer to fly than to cross the road. Although plane fatalities is a lot more publicized, than perhaps a car crash. In 25 years, Air Canada has had 4.84 million flights and not one fatal incident.
People have been known to develop a phobia of travelling, or most commonly of flying. Anyone suffering from a travel phobia is likely to avoid travelling as much they can. They wish to be in control and not the passenger. Millions of people suffer from these anxieties, although they can be overcome.
